Archers are a easy class to play with but in order to stay as strong as mages and knights in level 50 ++ You will need to spend a bit of cash.
Archer Easy Kills
You've probably noticed by now that you're losing to people A LOT in Battlegrounds and Arena, even against Mages, the one class you're suppose to be able to kill without any problems.
If this is the case, then either your stats are low or you're not using the correct skill set.
You're not alone, almost every archer is using the same skill set and blames the loss on poor luck or opponent being too strong. This is almost never the case.
Odds are you're current plan is to use Lunatic and Multi Shot then Arrow strike to kill your opponents troops, maybe even a Bloodthirstry strike on troops to heal a bit, and if possible finish with a Delphic on opponent?
This may work sometimes if you overpower your opponent or luck is on your side, but there is a better way.
Before we get into what that way is, let's take a look at the reason you lose to another Mage or Archer;
Mages have the ability to use AoE attacks and hit both you and your troops, quickly killing troops and then repeatedly attacking you, while you're stuck attacking their troops, while they still keep attacking you.
Other archers just get luckier, more crits, Multishot might hit you just the right amount of times and kill you before you kill them, can be very frustrating to constantly get beaten by someone luckier.
Well, relax, all you need to do is teweak your skills and you'll destroy your opponents quickly.
So let's get to it than shall we?
Your most important skill for PVP, believe it or not, is Armor Piercer.
At level 3 (Max) This skill deals 175% +390 damage with QTE bonus of 25% Damage, also decreases your opponents Physical Defense by 250. This skill ONLY hits a target in the back row. Which unless a mage or archer knew they were going to be fighting you, they should be in the back row.
As long as your attack and critical is high enough, you should be able to kill Mages and Archers in 2-3 hits. Perhaps another turn or two if they heal.
Only drawback is the rage consumption. This generally works best in Battlegrounds though, just use Deep Freeze on your first battle, and then use a Rage Rune, and use Armor Piercer until opponent is dead.
Once you've done that, start gaining rage on their troops so you can start your next battle with 100 rage.
Do not ever be afraid to use runes to help you win. A win is a win.
This will generally not work against Knights, as they have higher defense and should be in the front row, but you can always use Multi Strike to try clear their troops and then with Knight left, can try repeat Armor Piercer, any luck they're still trying to kill your troops and you can win. But hey, Knights are suppose to beat Archers, so don't get too upset if you lose to them.
Archer Astral
Below is a list of basic Astrals you need. Once you have these in either Purple, Orange or Red you can begin to look towards more advanced or alternative Astrals.
One of the most important Astrals amongst this list is Enhanced Determination, if you reach 7,000 astral star points and have yet to receive this in Orange, then this is what you need to buy first.
1. Holy Sniper's Edge
2. Holy Force
3. Enhanced Determination
4. Holy Willpower
5. Refined Goddess Blessing
6. Holy Fortitude
7. Enhanced Illusion
Ideally you want all orange and red astrals from the above list, however purple is fine.(Execpt Illusion; this is garbage if it's purple.)
Once you obtain one of the above astrals, make them all level 4 as soon as possible.
I suggest Archers play it squishy to begin with, you're not really designed to tank early on and so firstly you should upgrade Attack.
Then you'll need to focus on Holy Sniper's Edge and Enhanced Determination. Once you're able to maintain a steady stream of critical strikes, you can focus on your defense astrals.
Should aim for all astrals level 4 before taking any others further. Just so you do have some defense.
Talents
Stealth
Damage received decreased by 5%
Advice: Use this talent.
Reason: Permanent passive that decreases damage
Instinct
Shortens Bloodthirstry Strike cooldown by 7 seconds and increases damage by 5%
Advice:Do not use this talent
Reason: The skill has it's uses, but sadly it hits front row and more often than not back row is your primary target
Retribution
Increase crit chance of Delphic Death Star by 5%, shortens cooldown time by 5 seconds
Advice: Do not use this talent.
Reason: There are better ways to kill your opponents, this skill is hardly needed at all, let alone the talent.
crutiny
Arrow Strike has a chance to increase your crit damage by 10%, lasts 2 rounds
Advice: Do not use this talent.
Reason: Effect is nice, But Arrow strike should be a move best used when out of rage or in between cooldowns. So if you have rage, this won't be an important talent.
Enrage
Armor Piercer has a 5% chance to cause the next skill to be a critical hit.
Advice: Use this talent.
Reason: Armor piercer is going to be your skill for PVP. If this makes sure your next skill is a critical hit!? Awesome! More damage.
Potency
Multi shot has a 7% chance of decreasing rage consumption of X%, lasts 2 rounds.
Advice: Do not use this talent
Reason: Armor piercer is going to be your skill of choice for PVP. BEFORE you use Multi shot, not after..
Perception/b>
Shortens Incediary Shot cooldown by 7 seconds
Advice: Do not use this talent.
Reason: This is rarely of use in PVP, best used in PVE. Quite an expensive costing skill and later on you'll be required to spam Deep Freeze and Scatter shot.
Fury
Shortens Lunatic Fire cooldown time by 5 seconds, Has a chance to increase skills crit rate by 2%
Advice: Do not use this talent.
Reason: One Lunatic is generally enough.
Refineing
This is quite possibly a common area in which people lack and have no idea just how much it can improve your character
With the right refines, you can increase your most important stats and it can mean an extra 5k hp, or 2k defense or 1k attack or more.
So let's start looking at refinig equipment and what you should aim for!
Firstly you need attack. So your highest priority should be to obtain both +Strength and +Patk
Once you have these two, as an Archer your next best choice is +Crit
That's 3 down, now your 4th best choice is +Armor or +Defense, PVE set shows as +Armor and PVP set shows as +Defense
Final refine now, is +Endurance.
If you're not able to afford Balens, then I would try grab the first 3. Once you've achieved this, it'll provided some good attack and defenses If you can afford Balens, then by all means go for it. Lock in those stats and get those 5 refines.
Now, just so you know what you are getting, below is what the refined stats will provide;
+1 Strength = +4 Patk and 1 Pdef
+1 Armor/Defense = +4 Mdef and +4 Pdef
+1 Endurance = +20 HP
The others should be pretty self explainatory, +1 Crit = +1 Crit and so on.
Now as for the level next to the refined stats in brackets, that is basically the quality.
The higher level it is, the more stats that refine will give. This cannot be leveled up.
When refining you will be given a random attribute ranging from Lv 1 to Lv 10,

1. Equipment and Skills
Basicly its really necessary to use highest weapon lvl and enhantment possible and try to have POWER, PATK, CRIT on every part of your equipment! (my advice is not to waste all your refinement crystals on 35 pvp set and save em for 45 or 55.. till that time you will be ok with jsut 2 of those needed stats) - if your not casher.
Skill set No.1
Wartune Skill
This skill set is the best choice for everyone who is using PvE set becouse you can use Delphic Sniper every round!!
(pve set is the best option for WB) + if you have pve set and you want to use this build then i highly recommand you
to get 2 points in Battle Prowess passive skill.
Skill set No.2
Wartune Skill
This skill set is the best choice for for everyone who use PvP set becouse you can use high dmg nuke skill every round.

2. Gems
Wartune Gems
Your biggest friends will be PATK, CRIT and HP gems..
-PATK gems. Why? Dude seriously? Its just your bread and butter.
LEVEL em up fastest you can.
-I recommend to use CRIT gems to max dmg output but only as 4th socket in legendary gear or as switchable gems for WB only (mostly instead of PDEF or MDEF). Level em as last (other gems like MDEF or HP are much more important for other dalies like cata)
-HP gems becouse your goal is to survive 5 hits from WB (at lower levels with voachers) becouse to maximalize your DMG output you need to stay in front and tank for your companions. If you cant survive 5 hits just put your knights or gryphons or whatever in front of you.
3. Astrals
Wartune Astrals
- Primary: FORCE (PATK), CRIT (SNIPER), CRIT DMG INCREASE (DETERMINATION)
Secondary: FLOATING DMG (RUTHLESSNESS), HP (BRILIANCE), REFLECT (DEFLECTION)
- Force: is just need for every Archer and Warrior nothing to talk about here.
- Crit: same as Force for Archers.
- Crit damage increase: is awesome and by my oppinion the best astral to get after PATK.
(paradox is that this astral is really not worth unless its yellow)
- Floating damage: Can be great and can be bad. Its really up to you if your gambler and want to see super high dmg in cost of few super low runs then this is astral for you. (not really worth unlessits yellow)
- HP: If you cant survive 5 hits then this astral can help you else its useless for WB.
- REFLECT: if you have nothing else to use then this can add you some bonus damage. (not really worth unless its yellow)
4. Other boosts
- Guild skills: Very important part of the game. You should have Power, Endurance and Defense at highest
level you can and if your low on golds then Try to have at least POWER skill on highest possible level.
- Potions: Mostly you will use just POWER pot lvl3 (use higher only if your in late game when boss have much more hp and you can get at least 700K per run) but if you cant tank 5 hits use Endurance too.
- Scrolls: Really not worht of using at WB unless you are casher or have tons of em.
- VOACHERS - if you can get at least close to top 10 without voachers or your getting at least 300K gold per run
then use them for awesome boost.
